THE START HAS NOW BEEN DELAYED TILL 2ND FEBRUARY
From 5th January 2026, housebuilder Allison Homes will be carrying out works at the junction of Belton Lane and the A607, north of Manthorpe.
As part of the works, traffic signals and associated drainage will be installed and the junction will be widened, to:
• Increase safety
• Create an easier flow of traffic
• Improve flow to and from the new Manthorpe Chase development
• Upgrade existing infrastructure
The works are expected to take approximately three months to complete. During this period, temporary three-way traffic lights will be in operation at the junction of Belton Lane and the A607. Towards the end of the programme, there will be limited night-time road closures on both Belton Lane and the A607 to allow for final carriageway surfacing. These closures are anticipated to last around five nights. Exact dates and times will be confirmed and advertised closer to the start of these works, and appropriate diversion routes will be provided. When necessary, suitable, minor diversion routes will be put in place.
The works are being carried out by Allison Homes and contractor MV Kelly as specified by Lincolnshire County Council, as part of the planning permission granted for the Manthorpe Chase development.
