The saga of Poplar Farm continues however there are some bits of good news to report.

Following formal warning from Lincolnshire County Council the next phase of road completions are underway, The surfacing of Pennine/Penrhyn Way and Arundel Drive is complete. There is some outstanding block paving to be completed at the junction of Arundel Drive/Alnwick Way junction which I believe will commence this week. Once this is done we are going to fastrack adoption in order that we can address the various speeding and related issues. There is also a review being undertaken looking at speed measures, such as tables and SIDS.

The remaining issues for SKDC enforcement include the play areas and a number of minor works, listed below. I’m pleased that SKDC have now formally written to the developers regarding enforcement, also below. Hopefully we’ll see the remaining works completed in short order and I shall continue to press for this to happen,
